Home Dog Boarding in Bristol We have all had that dreaded moment, the holiday is booked, the cases are packed, and then it is time to take the dog to the kennels, but few dogs are suited to this. Mini's Retreat was started 11 years ago for this very reason.

Book your dog with us and they will enjoy walks, play and staying in the home to be treated as one of the family. If Mini's Retreat sounds like the perfect place for your dog, please call us to find out more.

We are conveniently located near Bristol close to Junction 19 of the M5 in the village of Easton in Gordano.

The address is The Retreat, 33 St Georges Hill, Easton in Gordano, North Somerset, BS20 0PT.
Testimonials 'Tog is under my feet in her favourite place by the PC, and she is very relaxed, which I have not experienced before when she is back from her "hols", so she was not fazed by the translocation at all, for which I am very grateful. Two weeks is a long time; Mini must be relieved she has her bed back.... I will recommend you to others - it is a great service. I am so pleased I made the phone call that day'

'I was really worried about who was going to look after my dogs when I booked a holiday for two weeks until I saw an advert for Mini's retreat in the local paper and thought it sounded good. The dogs living in the retreat just like home from home. After a very successful trial run, Spud and Buster went to stay and were obviously very well cared & catered for. (sorry about Spud sleeping in the clean washing basket!) I would highly recommend Jan & Dave at Mini's retreat and have peace of mind that my dogs will be coming back when we have saved enough for our next holiday!'

'Jan and Dave (aka Mini's Retreat) have been looking after my beautiful little chihuahua Barney since he was 7 months old. I was drawn to Mini's Retreat as it was a 'home from home' environment, with people who have a genuine love for dogs. His first stay was for two weeks whilst we were on holiday. Knowing he was living with Jan, Dave and their dogs was certainly peace of mind while we were away. After our holiday he started going to Mini's Retreat twice a week on a weekly basis whilst my husband and I are at work (this is something he still does now). When my husband drops Barney off in the morning it's obvious to see just how excited he is to be 'hanging out' with his doggie pals, and of course, with Jan and Dave. (I'm sure he would rather be living at Mini's Retreat than at home). He comes home completely shattered, where he's been out for long walks and spent the day playing, just like a tired toddler coming home from nursery. I cannot recommend Mini's Retreat highly enough, just a wonderful doggie haven!'

Being the owner of a nervous miniature poodle, dog kennels has never been an option for me and my dog Olive. Discovering Mini's retreat and Jan & Dave has therefore been a terrific find and solved all my dog sitting woes. It is very reassuring that Jan asks for an initial meet with your dog to assess how he/she will behave and is fully compliant and knowledgeable of dog boarding regulations. Coupled with an obvious genuine love for dogs, Mini's retreat is an obvious choice for beloved dogs and is always my 'go-to' when I need Olive to be looked after.
